Still COVIDing groups in Canada

Still COVIDing groups are plentiful on Facebook. They’re great for those of us taking COVID precautions because we are high-risk/immunocompromised or otherwise concerned. They have some activist content, but are primarily focussed on surviving the pandemic in a world where political policy is to pretend that the pandemic is over, and connecting like-minded people.

They are a great resource for information as lots of people have specific areas of knowledge like good masks, filtration and so on.

Still COVIDing, High Risk or Similarly Careful Edition (US, Canada and other countries)

There are regional Still COVIDing groups across Canada. Some of the ones we are part of include:

There is not a specific Still COVIDing one for Saskatchewan yet but Take Action Against COVID is a mix of activism and Still COVIDing. Unlike most other Still COVIDing groups, it is public, but moderated.

A search for “Still COVIDing” on Facebook will let you find dozens of groups related to industry, hobbies, parenting, and so on.

Ventilation

Clean Air Stars keeps a database of plug-in air filters with relevant information like airflow ratings, noise ratings, and prices.

Masks

Clean Air Crew in addition to its own section on ventilation, provides information on elastomeric respirators. It also offers links to NIOSH-approved lists of respirators that come with source control.
